The Firm handles all energy and natural resources briefs on behalf of clients and advises on the financing of oil and gas projects in Nigeria. The Firm monitors developments in the upstream and downstream sectors of the Nigerian oil and gas industry, including environmental and pollution legislations in Nigeria and those presently at the National Assembly and the case laws arising from environmental degradation in Nigeria. The Firm has good knowledge of the power sector in Nigeria as embodied in the Power Sector Reform Act; the unbundling of Power Holding Company of Nigeria, and its subsequent transformation into AEDC, KEDCO, etc.
